SJ Graduates

Chloe Rice

Chloe started training at Arts Educational Schools London in 2016 and then went on to train at the London School of Musical Theatre graduating in 2018. Since then Chloe has made her professional debut in a new British musical called ‘Liberty Rides Forth’. Chloe played Tammy/Ensemble in ‘Hairspray’ starring Russell Grant and has also recorded a concept album for a brand new musical ‘Eternally Yours’. Chloe has starred in the pantomimes Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin and Wizard of Oz. In 2021 Chloe worked for TAG in the shows A Magical Pirate Adventure as Lookout Lucia and The Legend of Paultons Manor as Molly. And this year is working as a lead vocalist on board the Viking Venus travelling around Norway and Europe for six months.

Amelia Roberts

Amelia graduated from Wilkes Academy in the Summer of 2019 where she trained for 3 years in Performing Arts. Amelia has performed in a variety of shows including dancing for Little Mix at The Brit Awards, The X-Factor Final 2018, travelling to Singapore to perform for Imagine Cruising, two corporate dance events for Iceland, being part of the ensemble in Aladdin, The Regent Theatre, Stoke-on-Trent 2017 and in Peter Pan at The Royal and Derngate Theatre, Northampton 2018. Since graduating Amelia has signed her first professional contract with P&O Cruises and will be performing as a dancer onboard the Arcadia travelling all across the globe. She is thrilled to be performing with Headliners Theatre Company.

Kelley Martin

Kelley started training at Laine theatre Arts in 2016 and graduated in July 2019. Since graduating she has performed on two P&O cruise contracts as a Dancer / Aerialist. Kelley has recently been in the new Batman The Vengeance film with Robert Patterson as a dancer and showgirl.

She has also been a dancer at Aruba on the Bournemouth Pier. Kelley has also been doing various other jobs for Netflix and Apple TV.

Rachel Humphries

After SJ Academy of Dance, Rachel started training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2013, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Ballet in 2016. Rachel received was given a contract with Mystic Ballet 2 in 2016 and in 2018 was promoted and joined the Mystic Ballet company as a Dark Room artist. At the end of my 2018 Rachel performed her first principal role as Ursula in Little Mermaid and was promoted to Assistant Rehearsal Director. In June 2019 Rachel completed her first professional tour performing in Belgrade, Nis and Novi Sad in Serbia. Rachel has just started her 4th season with Mystic Ballet and says "none of the above would have ever been possible without the teachers at SJAD, I'm so so grateful". We wish you all the best Rachel!

Libby Kenley

Libby trained at SJ from the age of 3-16. She then went on to further training for 3 years at Bird College Conservatoire for Dance and Musical Theatre. Libby is always involved with SJ whether that is choreographing, assisting or covering the teachers classes. Her first professional job from graduating was a dancer on Cunard's Queen Elizabeth. Libby has recently completed a dancer cover contract on the Queen Victoria and is now back in the UK, and back at SJAD.

Kate Blakey

Since leaving SJ Academy of Dance at the age of 16 in 2014, Kate trained at Bird College for 3 years and achieved a Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre. After finishing her professional training, she earned her first contract with MSC Cruises onboard the Meraviglia, upon which she travelled the Mediterranean for 6 months performing 6 different shows per week. Kate is currently rehearsing for her next contract with MSC Cruises onboard the Bellissima where she will be cruising around the United Arab Emirates and then Asia until June 2020.

"Without the training and guidance from all the teachers at SJ, I would not be living my dream today!"

Kira Fairbairn

Kira is currently in her 2nd year at Italia Conti Arts Centre in Guildford studying musical theatre. Since graduating from SJAD, she has been an extra for the Britain’s Got Talent opening sequence and has performed as a dancer for Rita Ora in her performance at Soccer Aid 2019.

Laura Morris

Laura started training at Bird College in 2017 after graduating from SJAD. She realised that teaching and Pilates were where her heart was set and decided to begin a diploma in access specialist mat Pilates. She has a ballet and musical theatre teaching job teaching little ones and will be a qualified Pilates instructor by the end of this year. "I still love to dance and thank Sally and all the teachers for such incredible training and discipline."

Zoe Vatter

Zoe trained at SJ Academy of Dance from the age of 8. At 19, after a successful audition in London, she took her first professional contact with Costa Cruises performing every night and travelling around Asia for 8 months. Zoe did a second contract with Costa before successfully auditioning with The Royal Caribbean!

Daisy Lowe

Daisy went on to study for 3 years at Laine Theatre Arts and graduated in 2015. Since then, she has played the part of Ali in Mamma Mia on Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas as well as performing in their production show Blue Planet. She has also toured the U.K and Ireland in the musical ‘All or Nothing’, and has performed in numerous pantomimes. TV work includes Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution on BBC, and ‘Quiz’ on ITV, as well as the short film ‘A Woman’ which will be released next year. This past year Daisy has appeared in a number of campaigns, including adverts for Byron, Argos, Yuki Tokyo, Selcouth London, Upbeat Drinks, Percy&Reed and Doddle. She is spending Christmas 2019 performing in Jack and the Beanstalk and will then be back auditioning in 2020!

Amber O'Rourke

Amber graduated from Laine Theatre Arts in 2015. During her training she played Ensemble/ Cover Wicked Witch of the West in Epsom Pantomime the Wizard of Oz, she performed on Britains Got Talent as a dancer for Thames TV, a Grid Girl for the Santander British Grand Prix and walked in the Emerging Trends Show at London Fashion week in 2015. Ambers passion has always been choreography and we are excited to have her teaching for us and choreographing competition work.

India Moody

India started musical theatre training in 2016 at Laine Theatre Arts and recently graduated July 2019. India is currently auditioning for cruises and shows.

Emma Stansell

Emma started training at Bird college at the age of 18. Emma is now working professionally in the commercial/ contemporary industry. Credits include: UK and international tour of Avant Garde Dance Company’s show ‘Fagin’s Twist’, The opening performance at the Brit Awards for Hugh Jackman, a recent Netflix musical (out in 2020), CBBC Christmas special of Hetty Feather, music videos for various artists and corporate gigs/campaigns around the world (Paris, Italy, Dubai).

Chloe Hammerton

Since graduating her 3 year Performing Arts course at Wilkes Academy in 2016, she has completed three cruise contracts. P&O Aurora and Oriana, and then Princess cruises on the Majestic Princess. She absolutely loved cruising, performing and has visited so many countries. After the pandemic Chloe decided to start her new career journey and joined the ambulance service as an Emergency Care Assistant to train and progress to become a paramedic over the next couple of years!

Mollie Hogben

Mollie started training at Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts in 2015 and graduated in 2018. She successfully auditioned as a resident vocalist/dancer at Warner Leisure Hotels in 2019 but during the pandemic decided to transfer her skills and gained a level 3 diploma in Mat based Pilates and has found a passion for teaching and sharing her love of movement. Since qualifying last year she has set up her own business, ‘Move With Mollie’, teaching at various leisure centres, PT studios and holds her own private classes in person and online. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without SJ, I started my journey with dance and Pilates here and it feels like I’ve come full circle, I can’t thank them enough!”

Mollie Stroud

Mollie trained with S J from 3 until 16 and then went onto continue her training at Wilkes Academy for 3 years. 
She left in the summer of July 2022 graduating with a Diploma in Performing Arts. Whilst at college she had the opportunity to perform in the ensemble  in Dick Whittington at the Plaza  theatre in Stockport in their annual pantomime. She also worked for Imagine cruises performing at the famous Blackpool Ballroom Tower in one of their staycation events entitled “An Evening with Anton Du Beke”  Mollie is now very excited to have graduated and signed to Princess Cruises as a dancer. She will be  performing on both the Island and Coral Princess on the world cruises until July 2023.
